RIA Engineering
The Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) Engineering team in Global Markets is responsible for delivering digital services to our Registered Investment Advisor clients. We design and build sleek, modern frontends, powered by scalable, reliable, and secured backend API services to provide clients trading, portfolio management, asset custody and clearing services. The RIA Engineering team builds new features, and continues bringing new financial products to our RIA clients, giving them necessary services and tools to serve their clients’ needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsibilities and Qualifications
As a member of the RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) security engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, planning, implementation, maintenance and support of networks devices and their configurations such as routers, switches, VPN, netscaler firewalls, IDS/IPS and proxy servers. You will also be working on security for AWS services that technology stack uses, from databases to webhosting. This is an opportunity to work closely with the business’s chief security officer, software developers, and a diverse client base to deliver secured, reliable technology solutions that scale to meet a broad range of client needs. We are looking for engineers who thrive in a client-driven, agile environment.

Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • 7 plus years’ experience as a Security Engineer
  • In depth understanding of information security considerations as related to network design and implementation.
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects
Preferred Qualification
  • Experience in Threat Hunting and SIEM experience
  • Experience in web application vulnerability management
  • Experience in DNS and load balancer
  • Experience with targeted cyber-attack analysis
  • Understanding and knowledge of common AWS services security
  • In-depth knowledge of HTTP and headers, SMTP and headers, FTP, SSH, TLS
  • Ability to read and interpret PCAP data both in a GUI and in hexdump format
  • Writing scripts with Python or equivalent languages
  • Ability to perform both static and dynamic malware analysis at a basic level
