Basic Qualifications

  • Must possess at a minimum an active Secret security clearance
  • Must possess a DoD 8140 or 8570 IAT II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, or higher)
  • Solid understanding and hands on experience with DISA STIGs (manuals & benchmarks), SCAP Compliance Checker
  • Experience deploying, administering DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) or Nessus
  • Experience with DISA Endpoint Security Solutions (Trellix) or legacy Host Based Security System
  • Experience with engineering solutions to baseline secure configurations and information system that meet DISA, DoD or DCSA (DAAPM) requirements
  • Hands on experience administering configuring, trouble-shooting, and securing Windows Servers and/or RedHat Linux servers and workstations
  • Experience with assessing and implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls in accordance with NIST 800-30, NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, and NIST 800-60

Job Description

Responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle. Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions. Coordinates and addresses Supply Chain risk management concerns. Develop, evaluate and analyze design constrains, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain. Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions. Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements. Employs cyber security processes, methods, techniques and tools and assure their consistent application. Implements appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.

This position is in direct support of Combined Orbital Operation Logistics and Resiliency (COOLR) in Colorado Springs, CO, reporting daily to Peterson Space Force Base.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Agile Development Lifecycle, including use of JIRA Project Management Tool
  • Experience with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency Authorization packages (DAAPM and NISPOM)
  • Experience with Git source control and Gitlab CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Ansible playbooks)
  • Splunk administration or similar SIEM experience

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 – $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
