Job Description
Experian’s Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) is designed to leverage the best technology with our highly trained experts to detect and investigate cybersecurity, insider and physical threats around the world. The CFC is seeking a Sr. Director of Incident Management and NA Security Operations. This role will oversee management of high-profile cybersecurity situations in a complex global enterprise through global incident commanders. Additional areas of responsibility include managing security operations and incident response life cycle, coordinating activities against emerging critical vulnerabilities, providing executive awareness and communications on significant cyber incidents and threats, and setting strategic objectives for the organization. Responsibilities
- Oversee global incident management and North America security operations.
- Serve as the incident response commander for major high-profile situations including validating and escalating incidents, coordinating response, facilitating information sharing and conducting reporting.
- Serve as liaison between technical response and business stakeholders to minimize the impact of an incident and maintain business operations.
- Ensure adherence to the Incident Response Plan and other emergency related protocols.
- Coordinate response activities with global incident managers for high priority incidents.
- Provide timely and relevant updates to appropriate executive stakeholders and decision makers.
- Conduct after-action reporting and provide relevant insights to guide improvements and adjustments to cybersecurity posture.
- Test and maintain emergency response plans, processes, and procedures to address existing and emerging threats.
- Establish strong working relationship with all fusion functions and help maintain situational awareness of potential risks to the environment.
- Organize, conduct, and maintain documentation for executive and targeted functional table-top exercises.
- Act in an advisory capacity and as a liaison for third-party incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
- CISM, CISSP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- 8-10+ years of related experience
- Experience with large scale and complex incidents of all types to include APT, DDOS, ransomware, web/mobile compromise, account compromise, data disclosures, etc.
TECHNICAL
- Demonstrated ability to perform independent analysis of complex problems and distill relevant findings and root causes.
- A broad and deep understanding of cyber-security threats, vulnerabilities, controls, and remediation strategies in global enterprise environments
- Knowledge of technologies, systems, and networks as well as typical gaps that could impact the ability of an organization to effectively detect and respond to cyber attacks
- Demonstrated knowledge of common adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, to include hardware, networking, architecture, protocols, files systems and operating systems.
NON-TECHNICAL
- Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one
- Good sense of judgement, rationale, and urgency required
- Respects time and manages it proactively
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies preferred
- Written/spoken English proficiency required
- An ability to make good decisions under pressure
- An ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional image
- An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, a clear, authoritative, and actionable manner
- An ability to effectively influence others
- A team-focused mentality with the proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple high visibility issues simultaneously
- Proactive attitude, seeking for improvement opportunities which can positively impact the security posture and the business

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
