Experienced Associates will join a thriving Privacy & Data Protection practice that continues to grow its Privacy Technology practice area. Successful candidates are highly motivated, organized, willing to learn on the job, and can interact with professionals at all levels. Successful candidates will have interest and experience with assisting with technical tasks, project management tasks, learning the fundamentals of data privacy, and would like to build their professional experience through working on multiple project aspects across engagement teams.
Job Duties
- Implements and configures privacy technology platforms to enable various aspects of a client’s privacy program
- Tests websites and mobile apps to detect compliance issues and other areas of privacy concern
- Manages individual project responsibilities and tasks to deliver high quality and timely deliverables
- Attends and documents client meetings and interviews and internal meetings with clear and concise notes
- Assists project team with developing client reports and status reports, including findings and recommendations
- Conducts research for client projects to ensure that they receive the most up to date solutions available on the market
- Budgets time and assists with multiple project requests simultaneously, as well as the ability to monitor project tasks and risks
- Travels as necessary
- May implement integrations between privacy technology platforms and other systems
- May assist with providing guidance on governance of artificial intelligence solutions
- May participate in other “non-technical” activities related to assisting clients with their privacy programs including:
- Conducting maturity assessments based on privacy regulations or frameworks
- Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) of client systems, processing activities and vendors
- Providing support for the processing of data subject requests
- Utilizing privacy technology to assist clients with maintaining their privacy programs
- Developing policies and procedures

Education
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree, required, focus in Data Privacy, Computer Science or Cybersecurity, preferred
Experience
- One (1) or more years of professional experience with privacy, data management, technology implementation and/or compliance OR a relevant Master’s Degree, required (see above for preferred fields of study)
Licenses/Certifications
- N/A
Software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required
- Proficiency with using or implementing privacy technology platforms such as OneTrust, DataGrail, BigID, TrustArc and others, preferred
- Experience with or knowledge of software development principles, preferred
- Experience with or knowledge of artificial intelligence technologies, preferred
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
California Range: $85,000 – $95,000
Colorado Range: $85,000 – $95,000
New York City/ Valhalla Range: $85,000 – $95,000
Washington Range: $85,000 – $95,000
