Purpose of Position

The Identity and Access Management (IDAM) security Analyst is responsible for all work related to identity, access and permissions management including the following:
Provision and de-provision users to multiple systems
Grant and remove permissions while applying least privilage and role-based access control (RBAC) models
Assign and track multi factor tokens
Perform process oversight and management duties including document, reconcile, manage and clean up identities on a regular basis.
Continually look for ways to improve the process and increase efficiency
This position works in a fast-paced environment as member of the Security team in support of employees across the globe.
This role reports to the Director of Security Operations

Tasks and Responsibilities

Provision/de-provision users in various systems including systems where automation is not yet available
Ensure role-based access controls (RBAC) are documented, maintained and regularly reviewed for each role and all users including deviations or exceptions
Document the procedures followed for all work performed by this role
Understands the security risks identities pose and the proper way to mitigate those risks through technology, process and people
Look for ways to improve the work process you are responsible for including automation and use of existing technology to increase accuracy and efficiency
Participate in audits and assessments involving Identity and Access
Work with various IT and business units to learn their needs and operating environments and how we can best support their needs
Serve as the escalation point for urgent requests
Work closely with IT and security engineers to fold new systems and applications into the IDAM process
Continually evaluate and report on the design, implementation, effectiveness and maturity of the IDAM service
Serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of Identity and Access management
Provide regular reports on all aspects of this role’s responsibilities including IDAM security metrics
Mentor others within IDAM team to increase team competency and continually build a culture of continuous improvement

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience

Minimum Experience

Minimum of 3+ years of Identity Management experience in a NIST control framework
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience
IT Security and Identity Management solutions best practices

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD, working with Okta is strongly desired
Experience with best practices and NIST requirements for identity life cycle management
Experience with audits and compliance requirements to comply with NIST or FISMA controls working for a government contractor
Ability to manage across multiple competing priorities and time-sensitive initiatives
Strong ability to motivate and lead team members inclusive of a remote/virtual environment
Uncompromising personal and professional integrity and ethics
