The Business Applications Developer is primarily responsible for the maintenance and ongoing development of the company’s consumer interfacing systems to include but not limited to Encompass, Salesforce, and Motivity. Individuals serving in this role will design, develop, document, analyze, create, test, and modify computer systems and/or programs.

PRIMARY POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the appropriate internal departments and teams to identify opportunities for user interface enhancements;
- Develop and implement user interface system enhancements;
- Maintain internal system(s) to include but not limited to our Encompass LOS and Salesforce;
- Configure internal business intelligence systems;
- Administer and maintain the Mortgage Returns system and process;
- Address consumer-based system issues and inquires in a timely and professional manner;
- Develop new system work-flows, as needed;
- Generate and facilitate new user process improvement plans;
- Senior Business Applications Developer works with the appropriate internal departments and teams to solve user interface problems;
- Senior Business Applications Developer troubleshoots consumer-based systems and implement the appropriate updates to ensure optimal functionality;
- Senior Business Applications Developer may travel to stand alone business locations to provide direct support;
- Complete other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
- Hands-on programming using vue.js and .NET Core;
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
- Must have the ability to make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws and regulations;
- Must be dependable with meeting deadlines and managing time;
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills in English;
- Proven expertise in developing custom web applications on ASP.NET stack including C#, .NET, Entity Framework, Linq, SQL Server
- Experience with standard web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
- Experience developing restful web API;
- Ability to work on existing applications as well as developing new enterprise level applications from the ground up;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to learn new technologies and develop skills.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- An Associate’s Degree from an accredited university in the field of Information Technology preferred (more than 2 years of relevant work experience can be substituted for preferred educational level);
- Strong front-end experience making responsive web applications, preferred;
- Possess configuration management skills preferred;
- Experience building applications using MVC design pattern, preferred;
- Experience with SQL and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is characteristic of an office setting. However, the job by its nature may require physical exertion beyond that normally found in a typical office setting, including crouching, stooping, balancing, and working in confined spaces, with possible exposure to dirt, dust, or other allergens.
There may be occasional risk of exposure to chemicals, cleaning solvents, fumes, heavy metals and electric shock. Required to frequently lift/carry objects up to 25lbs, and occasionally objects up to 75lbs. The senior level individual in this position may engage in field work, and as such moderately frequent travel may be common.
