Job Title: IT Auditor

Location: New York City

Responsibilities:

Works directly with Senior IT and IT Audit Manager in performing audits of business systems, information security and data center operations. Also assists in performing pre/post-implementation reviews, operational readiness, fraud detection / prevention programs and other technical assessments.

• Assists in performing IT Audits / reviews in accordance with approved programs and prepares high-quality workpapers which record and summarize audit objectives and results
• Evaluates the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle
• Assists in the development / execution of audit programs and testing procedures using audit software
• Help identify and report performance improvement opportunities to key stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of prior IT Audit experience
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, business, information technology, or computer science
• Relevant knowledge of programming languages, operating systems (z/OS, Windows), database systems (DB2, SQL), security systems (ACF2, Active Directory), cloud computing and network security components (firewalls, IDS, anti-virus)
• Experience in IT, Operational and/or financial auditing or risk management
• Knowledge of risk and controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Professional Certification – CISA, CPA, CIA preferred or enrolled to take exam
• Strong verbal / written communication, problem solving, critical thinking and independent judgement skills
