Job Summary:

Clear Channel Outdoor seeks a Lead Cyber Security Engineer with a passion for the security mission, with both broad and deep expertise in the cybersecurity space. The Lead Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing controls to secure sensitive business data and protect system boundaries, endpoint systems and network devices.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Designs, implements, and monitors security measures for the protection of endpoint systems, networks, cloud services, and information
  • Identifies, analyzes, and defines system security processes, best practices, and security requirements for the organization
  • Identifies and develops automation opportunities in an ongoing effort to provide cost-effective and efficient cybersecurity solutions
  • Develops and documents standard operating procedures, continuity of operations, and protocols
  • Establishes security configurations, tests, and troubleshoots security infrastructure devices
  • Develops technical security solutions and tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
  • Responds to all system and or/network security events, incidents, and breaches; will serve as the Incident Response Technical Lead
  • Writes comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions to further mature the organization’s cybersecurity posture
  • Supervises and trains operators in the configuration, deployment, and sustainment of cybersecurity tools and practices
  • Actively participates in change control operations to maintain established security control principles, policies, and procedures
  • Provides strategic direction and facilitate healthy collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to achieve shared business objectives
  • Serves as team lead overseeing day-to-day operations and team performance while fostering continuous improvement efforts

Job Requirements

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field or 3 years of experience as a cyber security engineer within the last 4 years
  • GCIH, CCSP; CISSP, SC-C01, CySA+ a plus

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a cybersecurity practitioner
  • Experience in the design and architecture of enterprise security controls
  • Operational experience with various endpoint security systems and tools supporting vulnerability management, content filtering, endpoint detection & response (Netskope, Rapid7, and Crowdstrike Falcon preferred)
  • Experience in securing network services and privileged access management using monitoring, protective, and automated reporting tools (ProofPoint, LogRhythm, CyberArk preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in AWS security services and features of services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector)
  • Familiarity with web related technologies (web applications and servicesservice-oriented architectures) and of network/web-related protocols

Skills

  • Expert level knowledge of the latest security principles, techniques, best practices, and protocols
  • Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting regular vulnerability assessments of interconnected systems, applications, and cloud-services to prevent a security incident
  • Comprehensive ability to conduct in-depth analysis of network environments and identify any vulnerabilities or gaps in the system
  • Expertise in penetration testing, networking, system administration, and operating systems
  • Competency to architect, maintain, and monitor the deployment of available tools to discover threats and malicious activity
  • Working knowledge and application of cybersecurity frameworks and controls
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor with an emphasis on team motivation, performance, and mentorship
