Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily support and maintenance of systems and related interfaces. Serves as the day-to day contact for Lawson Infor Accounting and Finance end-users. Troubleshoots system down-time or other production issues in a fast, efficient manner. Shares technical knowledge to improve the skills of new and experienced Lawson Infor users.
  • Provides plan set-up, testing, and technical support for Accounting and Finance (e.g. AP, Budget, Payroll, General Ledger, Asset Mgmt.) Performs plan set-up and testing.
  • Provides plan set-up, testing, and technical support for Human Resources. Performs plan set-up and testing such as for Benefits Open Enrollment, Employee Self Service and other HR modules (e.g. HR, Benefits, Leaves)
  • Keeps HRIS and Finance technical training instructions/manuals up-to-date as systems are updated, converted to migrated. Assists in providing technical training to end-users.
  • Works with vendors to develop data imports, exports, and reporting; establishes recurring data feeds. Monitors interfaces to ensure they are functioning properly and troubleshoots issues. (Vendor/interface examples: CA Short, Equifax, HomeCare Home Base, UKG/Kronos, Medical/Dental and other benefit carriers, NetHealth, OnShift, Relias (LMS), BSI/Tax Services)
  • Compiles scheduled and ad hoc reporting. Uses query and report writing tools to create and validate reports. Trains others to be self-sufficient in running reports based on their respective security levels.
  • Performs uploads and maintenance to data tables. Ensures the integrity and accuracy of data and information (e.g. job titles, earning codes, shift differential tables, reporting hierarchies, bonus/incentive plans, GL/AU/department accounts, tax tables). Audits data to determine accordance with policies and procedures and data integrity.
  • Performs testing as directed. Assigns testing to end-users to ensure functionality and accuracy before any production goes live.
  • Drafts and maintains annual schedule of tasks/activities for each company or department. Creates and maintains the internal instructions for all processes within the department.
  • Keeps informed of trends regarding information security and technology. Adheres to system access parameters based on employee’s job role. Maintains the confidentiality of data and information.
  • Ensures that system administration and reporting are in compliance with established laws, regulations, processes and procedures. Escalates concerns to Lead Infor Systems Admin., CIO or Corporate Compliance.
