Job Summary

There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities

Under general to limited supervision, this position monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures which safeguard information assets from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Provides technical and administrative support in modifying, designing, and setting up applications security. Evaluates and resolves security-related problems, and advises users on security issues. Works with multiple business units, within a specific platform environment, on multi-project assignments. Guides and advises less experienced Systems Security Analysts. Errors may cause delay, expense, and disruption. Additional responsibilities include:

• Administer on-prem Windows and Linux servers as well as cloud infrastructure (Azure focused).
• Install and support software services and applications as needed by business units.
• Perform daily system and server monitoring, verifying the integrity, availability, and performance of server resources, systems and key processes.
• Create modules to automate the deployment, management and configuration of infrastructure environments, on-prem and cloud.
• Implement and automate the deployment of IaaS and PaaS services in Azure.
• Provide design expertise on capacity planning, business continuity, and resilience for on-prem and cloud systems.
• Create and assist with maintenance of documentation for processes and procedures to support infrastructure, project planning, and user education.
• Occasional weekends, after hours, and travel are necessary, as well as 24/7 on call rotations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Information Security Analyst: 3+ years Windows Server System administration and engineering experience in enterprise environments.

Sr. Information Security Analyst: 5+ years Windows Server System administration and engineering experience in enterprise environments.

Note: A partial year of related experience of 6 months or greater will count as a year towards the qualifications.

• Experience architecting, managing, and troubleshooting Azure cloud environments.
• Networking fundamentals, including diagnostic experience with Windows tools.
• DNS fundamentals, including diagnostic experience with Windows tools.

The successful candidate will have direct experience in the following areas:

• Experience writing administration/automation scripts in PowerShell.
• Experience querying/reporting with Splunk (preferred) or other SIEM tool.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• In-depth experience in security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols desired.
