Tenneco is looking for a Technical Architect-IAM. This role will report to the Director of Identity and Access Management and will provide department leadership as an Information Security technical subject matter expert. As an Architect in the Information Security team, you will be shaping the direction for protection of a leading global components and systems manufacturer for the automotive industry. As a member of the Security team you will be helping us protect our business across 150 global sites. As an Architect you will serve as a strategic advisor to the IAM team and across the IT and Business leaders and engineers

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and design IAM solutions with global stakeholders.
- Responsible for the implementation and support of technical, process, and reporting elements of Authentication and Authorization
- Provides in-depth technical direction and support to managed security service providers; proactively identifies, tracks, and mitigates risk to IT systems and operations.
- Deploy Identity Governance solutions to meet Company requirements
- Design, deploy, implement, and integrate with critical applications and infrastructure
- Follow approved life cycle methodologies and create documentation for design and testing
- Responsible for architecture and design of identity solutions for the enterprise in a highly complex environment with a blend of legacy and innovation platforms
- Interact/coordinate with various IT and Business leaders and engineers
- Provide technical oversight and direction to mid-level and junior engineers
- Train and groom top talent to be experts in technology and IAM
- Assist operations team as required, coordinate with product engineering teams and consulting firms
- Work across IT teams to deliver IAM best practices for on-premises and cloud-based solutions for employees, contractors, vendors and customers
- Provide technical expertise and real-life experience in creating solutions, designs, proof of concept and implementation
- Support and architect IAM Security projects, including Identity tools for automation, lifecycle events, authentication, MFA, etc.
- Conduct research and use knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address IAM governance and operations
- Ensures delivery of high-quality product on time and within budget
- Develops and maintains security-related monitoring and logging procedures for IAM
- Understands business priorities and focuses efforts towards aligning services to business requirements.
- Troubleshoots complex issues with existing security and privacy protection standards.
- Recommends and implements improvements to security services.
- Develops partnerships with other business and IT functions involved in security and privacy matters.
- Develops relationships with security vendors and external security experts.
- Provides Information Security expertise and guidance to internal and external IT project team and IT.
Required Experience
EDUCATION: Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology related field or commensurate experience.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of working level experience in IAM.
- 3+ years of experience in an Architect or related role with experience in delivering operational process improvements.
- 3+ years of experience managing large projects and improvements
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in assessing and mitigating risk.
- Experience in a large-scale global IT enterprise environment.
- Experience with administration and management of Windows, Linux, UNIX, Azure, or mobile operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of authentication technologies and tools
- Knowledge of IAM products and tools
- Implementation experience with Cloud environments, lifecycle events, governance, and authentication
- Preserving evidence integrity according to standard operating procedures or national standards.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple objectives and manage through a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to influence and drive behavior across the organization with other teams
- Analytical problem-solving capabilities and strong decision-making skill
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with individuals across all levels the organization.
- Knowledge and experience working across a geographically and culturally diverse organization..
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities while multitasking effectively.
- Ability to design, evaluate and document processes and lead teams in accomplishing process review and improvement.
