As an IT Security/Risk Analyst II, you’ll work on collecting, storing, processing and building Business Intelligence and Analytics applications within our big data platform.
- Analyzes security, threats, risks and exposures, determines the causes of security deviations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security.
- Collaborates cross functionally in business and system requirements analysis.
- Develops techniques and procedures for conducting and reporting IS and cyber security analysis, risk assessments, and compliance audits,
- Evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on system security,
- Investigation-to-resolution of security incidents such as: intrusion, frauds, attacks or leaks
Primary Accountabilities:
- Conduct security and risk related analysis including data gathering, calculations, and formal reporting.
- Perform analysis of business and system requirements and capabilities (e.g., access controls) including data gathering, calculations, and formal reporting.
- Build strong relationships with Peers across functions through collaborative analysis and reporting exercises.
- Participate in the assessment, remediation, and tracking of information technology risks.
- Execute compliance audits including risk assessment, audit scope, identifying and testing processes/controls and participate in the development of specific recommendations.
- Analyze existing issues and incidents and determine action in line with Risk Management Strategy and Standards.
- Monitor any legal or regulatory non-compliance as part of the divisional risk management process.
- Coordinate completion and review of divisional IT Risk and Control Self-Assessments and associated documentation to ensure they meet the RCSA standards.
- Deliver various risk reports and key performance indicators and identify report automation opportunities.
Education and Licenses:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS or related field, or equivalent work experience.
