Yum! Brands has a new opportunity for a Forensics and eDiscovery Analyst. This role will give a successful candidate the opportunity to influence our business at a global level. This high visibility role will work with our four iconic Brands to drive our Global Technology Risk Management strategy by further progressing the Forensics and eDiscovery program. The position will collaborate with various IT and Business functions as well as other key stakeholders to gain commitment and alignment to identify and manage risk. Notably, you will have the opportunity to learn our business from the ground up while working on cutting edge technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform forensic evidence recovery and analysis on a wide variety of computer-based related peripheral equipment and data storage devices, such as hard drive discs, solid-state drives, optical discs, mobile devices as well as various other forms of computer media.
- Maintain and manage the proper handling procedures regarding the collection and storage of physical and digital evidence while maintaining matter confidentiality.
- Assist the Incident Response team with performing forensics on a wide array of digital data.
- Participate in IR training sessions and exercises.
- Prepare clear and concise reports that follow scientific methodology and can be reproduced by other practitioners.
- Assist with eDiscovery collections and advanced reporting.
- Perform a variety of advanced procedures to analyze digital multimedia evidence for investigative purposes.
- Continuously stay up-to-date and evaluate evolving trends in technology and apply technical knowledge and tools to support incoming requests.
- Effective and secure handling of digital evidence and
- Assist in the preparation of monthly security metrics.
- Train operational team members on Forensics and eDiscovery processes and procedures.
- Develop a roadmap for enhancing the Forensics and eDiscovery program.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field or equivalent years of experience
Experience (and other qualifications):
- A minimum 5 years of IT digital forensics experience.
- Experience using industry leading forensic tools such as Axiom, FTK, Encase, and Cellebrite.
- Experience with large scale and complex environments.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, and architectural requirements.
- Deep and broad technology background which includes being a self-starter, highly motivated, curious and operate with little oversight.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticket management system.
- Ability to analyze event and systems logs, perform forensic analysis, analyze malware, and other incident response related data, as needed.
- Skills in performing digital investigations, and an understanding of network forensics (logging, architecture, etc.
- Proficient with data retention policies and procedures.
- Experience building eDiscovery processes and procedures.
- Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical professionals.
