This position is critical to aiding us in accomplishing our strategic IT objectives. Our team supports a variety of different users including a national sales staff, two on-site administrative offices, and three distinct light manufacturing operations.

• Responding to staff requests for support followed up with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solutions.
• Purchase, configure, and deploy new computers and related equipment
• Documenting solutions and tracking support requests using a project management tool.
• Developing plans for more efficient ways to handle common issues.
• Making security change requests through active directory or our business systems.
• Virus and Spyware/Adware removal
• Printer configuration and basic maintenance
• Network Configuration, installation, and maintenance (HP switching, Palo Alto firewall)
• Manage licensing for several different software suites
• Manage our Mitel VOIP telecommunications systems
• Manage VMWare vSphere server environment

Vulcan Steel Products is looking for a candidate that has at least 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Server 2012 and 2016 and competency in Windows 10 configuration. Advanced understanding of Active Directory

and networking concepts is a necessary skill. The candidate must also have experience with VOIP telecommunications systems, general switching and routing, as well as familiarity with planning and

managing fiber networks. An ideal candidate would have an A+ certification, along with other relevant certifications. The candidate should have good verbal communication skills, as working with our employees to find solutions is a chief responsibility. The ability to lift up-to 50 lbs. on an infrequent basis is also a consideration.
