Role Summary:

Leads the audits of multiple or highly complex technology projects. Manages numerous activities from start to close. Leverages specialized knowledge to complete other highly complex business or technology activities, as needed. Responsible for the quality and accuracy of own work. Provides guidance to less experienced staff and reviews their work.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for candidate that has the following:

  • Solid understanding of audit concepts and auditing techniques.
  • Independently able to develop audit scope, evaluating technical and business risk, preparing work plans, performing, and documenting audit test work, developing meaningful and/or value-add recommendations, conducting meetings, giving presentations and assisting with internal departmental activities as required
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior management.
  • Able to assist Director of Technology Audit in mentoring less experienced auditors.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Strong data analytics and technical skills.
  • Ability to evaluate both existing key automated systems, as well as the controls in systems which are being developed.
  • Knowledge of and ability to evaluate general technology controls including cybersecurity and other emerging technologies.
  • The ability to document technologies and technology general controls, flowchart process flows, evaluate existence and adequacy of controls, and design tests to evaluate those controls.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Technology functions, organizational structures, and typical risks in an environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to clearly articulate and present findings, recommendations, and associated risk.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 8+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred:

  • 8+ years of technology audit experience with exposure to asset management, financial services, banking industry, or a Big 4 environment preferred
  • Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed and organized individual
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Able to understand technology risk and control concepts
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills, with experience in data analytics a plus.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment preferred
  • CPA, CISA, CIA or CISSP preferred
  • Innovative mindset and ability to develop ideas seeking ways to add value to the Global Audit team and the business

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
