As a Security Analyst, you will help develop, maintain, and govern organization wide best practices for information security, working with partners to ensure those controls and technologies are properly implemented.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in cross functional projects inside and outside of Enterprise Security
  • Collaborate on critical technology projects to ensure that security issues are addressed throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage Identification, prioritization, and remediation guidance of security vulnerabilities.
  • Manage approval, tracking and reporting any security exceptions as the need arises.
  • Manage the facilitation, analysis, execution and governance for contracted security engagements, driving remediation with internal and external partners.
  • Manage the design, development, and delivery of security training programs.
  • Research potential information security threats, industry trends, emerging technologies, and response alternatives.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with IT and business partners while leading through influence
  • Strong Understanding of information security risksthreats, and controls.
  • Strong Understanding of information security audit and assessment methodologies, policies, standards, procedures and best practices.
  • Understanding of information security standards, data privacy laws, computer crime laws, and federal data protection laws, etc.
  • Understanding of core IT concepts and functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed with a passion for learning.
  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly, with a strong analytical and trouble-shooting capability.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to use discretion and handle sensitive/confidential information.
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment where technology continuously evolves
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with various levels of senior leadership
  • Demonstrate a keen attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information SecuritySoftware Development or another related technical discipline.
  • 7 years of experience in Information Security, Cyber Security.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and team building skills.
  • Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents.
  • Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines.
  • Security+, CISSP preferred.
  • Advanced Risk Certifications (CISA, CISM, CRISC, etc.) required.
