About the Position:

Juniper Networks has an opportunity for a Cyber Security Awareness and Engagement Lead within Juniper’s Cybersecurity team and reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer. This leader will drive the implementation and oversight of a multifaceted awareness and training program focused on creating a culture of accountability and curating information and educational content for technical and non-technical audiences to sustain an ongoing dialog. Essentially, being the “voice” of cybersecurityIn addition, this leader will be responsible for facilitating a number of internal focus groups where more targeted engagement is necessary such as a Security Ambassador program.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver periodic awareness messages in coordination with threat intel and incident response and other cyber teams to reinforce key messages
  • Develop and deliver periodic phishing and social engineering tests including engagement with key stakeholders on driving improvements
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, cross-functional partners and external agencies to inform and drive security awareness
  • Lead the preparation and delivery activities for annual events such as Cybersecurity Month
  • Facilitate business engagement with key stakeholder groups including product engineering teams, R&D lab owners, business application owners and others as identified
  • Support coordination with partners during major incidents, facilitating information exchange, and responding to requests for information or assistance
  • Deepen external global relationships with the cyber community
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of feedback mechanisms to implement improvements with operational cyber services

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in a security awareness, training, business engagement or policy communications role
  • Project management experience, the ability to plan, manage and maintain a complex, organization wide program over the longer term.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both to technical and management/executive audiences
  • Sound judgement under pressure and initiative to act on urgent issues timely
  • Customer-focused mindset, with demonstrated skill in managing expectations, providing proactive status updates, and producing high-quality work product
  • Understand the concepts of organizational behavior culture and how culture impacts how people behave, learn, and interact with others

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Publication level writing skills
  • 1-3 years of Marketing or Communications or Learning Management Systems experience a plus
