We are looking for a Head of Cloud Security Operations to establish and lead a small team of engineers focused on scalable security solutions aligned with Broadridge products! This role requires a strong understanding of Security, Risk, and Compliance and an ability to work closely with agile product teams and enterprise technology SME groups, to serve a diverse set of product and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers responsible for Cloud Security Operations and Controls in a multi-cloud environment
• Improve secure practices for deployment orchestration and automation, using tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, etc.
• Evaluate new security technologies for cloud environments, streamlining processes and improving automation
• Assess risks, working closely with product and development teams to ensure cloud security controls and mitigations are risk aligned and meeting company directives and goals
• Craft and operate continuous cloud compliance monitoring technology
• Develop and detail updates to policies, standards, practices, and procedures as part of the corporate security program
• Lead continuous improvement of cloud security, including applicable improvements and remediation, and publish relevant metrics

Qualifications:

10+ years of shown success in network, application, or infrastructure security including a mix of hands-on technical work along with compliance and oversight responsibilities

Good communication skills to tailor security risk communications to diverse audiences

Experience leading within a large enterprise!

Experience leading organizations through Security compliance processes, accreditations, and/or ATO lifecycles

Ability to balance immediate operational and business demands, with long term strategic planning, for the benefit of the organization

Experience recruiting, leading, and mentoring diverse groups of security engineers in a remote work environment

Demonstrated experience with systems administration and/or engineering in one of the following areas: Cloud migration/deployment; Server/OS management; Network management; Database and Middleware management; enterprise Software Development; Storage and Virtualization management; Other technical area with similar enterprise scope and depth

Preferred Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology related field
• Experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWS
• Experience aligning security programs to security benchmarks and standards (NIST, CIS, FIPS, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FIPS 140-2) and a clear understanding over how these controls align to efforts to regulatory bodies such as the FFIEC, CSA, and FedRamp
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK

Salary Range: $165,000 to $245,000 Annual
