The Associate Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing assistance and support in one of our Information Technology divisions including: Cybersecurity, Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics, IT Applications, Communications, IT Infrastructure, or IT Operations. The position will work under regular supervision. Performs basic technology tasks and projects of lesser complexity. Relies on established guidelines and/or detailed direction. Work will familiarize employee with programs and practices of the Company.

Cybersecurity – We’re looking for aspiring superheroes to defend the company network and stop hackers. We are looking for recent college graduates (or about to graduate) with technical aptitude, inquisitiveness, and a strong desire to learn. We want good problem solvers, who have good analytic skills and are good at finding the needle in the haystack, that can communicate technical security issues to non-technical business managers, and that can effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment. You will develop cybersecurity skills while also learning about what IT and our business does. Responsibilities include analyzing potential phishing attempts, security monitoring, incident identification, automating incident response processes, keeping up with emerging cyber threats, and increasing employee security awareness. Ultimately you will take on a more specialized role within one of our cybersecurity disciplines (operations, engineering, or identity and access management) or move into another area of IT where you will apply your cybersecurity knowledge while developing additional skills. You will have daily opportunities to learn and develop skills and formal training will be provided. A Bachelor’s degree is required, and if not MIS or CS related, then some level of technical knowledge around networking, programming, and/or operating systems is needed.
Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics. – We’re looking for graduates that are passionate about using data to create innovative solutions for today’s real-world energy problems. IT Applications – We’re looking for recent college graduates with technical aptitude and a strong desire to learn the energy business. You will learn and ultimately provide support for Enterprise’s business systems, including the development, integration, and support of internally developed and 3rd party applications. Responsibilities will also include project related tasks, with opportunity to build expertise related to relational and non-relational databases, latest web development technologies, mobile application development, big data and analytics, ERP systems and/or midstream commercial systems. Formal and on-the-job training will be provided for the technical and functional aspects of supporting the various business systems. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS or related technical degree.
Communications Engineer – We are looking for recent college graduates or seniors with a drive to learn. Apply your organizational and technical knowledge to help design/engineer a wide variety of telecommunication infrastructure technologies that include voice, data, radio, security, SCADA, video, microwave and satellite systems. In addition to the development of your engineering skills, you will be able to earn valuable project management experience, interact cross functionally with stakeholders in multiple facets of the company, and develop technical papers and standards documents. While self-motivation and the ability to quickly absorb information are a plus, one-on-one mentorship will be provided for every aspect of this position. IT Operations – Are you interested in IT Support Center or Server Operations?
The Enterprise IT Support Center is seeking a detailed-orientated, self-motivated and organized associate help desk person to join our growing team. In this position, you will learn how to help our customers by providing technical assistance supporting our customers with their computer hardware and application related issues. You will be working with other IT groups regarding hardware and software upgrades, troubleshooting and diagnose connectivity issues.
Or are you ready to take on the challenge of Server Operations support. Use your skills to support server operating environments such as Windows 2019 and Linux. You will also learn how to monitor and debug every aspect of the server operating system and application environment including performance metrics and system failures. Your skills in scripting will also help as you interact with other IT departments such as Server Architecture and the Application teams to streamline and automate manual tasks. Requirements for these positions are a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related technical degree.
