As a member of Cyber Security Engineering & Operations team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing plant floor-facing cyber security technologies, understanding existing cyber security capabilities, and staying current on new and emerging solutions. You will also be responsible and accountable for recommending optimizations of current services, and platforms whilst providing guidance to inform and advance our plant floor security posture. A successful candidate will possess strong learning agility, keen intellectual integrity, a mature risk mindset and a bias for automation.

Key Accountabilities

Innovate

  • Work cross-functionally to identify and remediate control gaps using novel techniques, existing processes and technology protecting ICS network assets
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions supporting detection & response processes for ICS systems
  • Design security infrastructure and drive its implementation to protect networks and critical systems

Communicate

  • Create and maintain documentation for new and existing processes and deployments to inform and codify
  • Identify and articulate security risks associated with planned ICS deployments and systems
  • Work across organizational boundaries to inform and influence others
  • Provide security expertise, consultation, and guidance to a diverse set of stakeholders

Operate

  • Support the design, integration and maintenance of cybersecurity systems, solutions and platforms protecting ICS networks, digital assets, and infrastructure
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to maintain, enhance, and support cyber security solutions
  • Perform log analysis with supported tools, with the goal of isolating traffic with preventative technologies
  • Balance customer service with the need to implement robust defense-in-depth measures supporting secure ICS environments
  • Ensure the integrity, security, and resiliency of critical cyber security platforms and services

Minimum Qualifications

  • Practical knowledge of ICS security standards, frameworks, and best practices
  • Experience designing and implementing cyber security controls, systems, and solutions
  • Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience presenting and communicating complex topics and concepts to audiences at various organizational levels
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques used by attackers to gain unauthorized access to enterprise and ICS systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills, especially where there is ambiguity
  • Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, IPsec and SSL VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and network monitoring tools
  • Prior experience with information security technologies, including boundary protection, endpoint protection, remote access, and security information and event management
  • Experience working with Palo Alto firewalls and the associated management tools
  • Strong analytic skills with a penchant for measuring what matters
