Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the End-to-end Telecoms environment in NA in alignment with global strategies and Site business requirements
  • Work closely with Cluster and Site IT and Telecoms vendors and suppliers as part of the NA Solutions Delivery team to ensure E2E service delivery in the region with a focus on driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and governance for the Telecoms domain in NA; accountable for incident management, problem management, change management and capacity management
  • Manage the Telecoms vendors and partners to optimize service levels and performance; responsible for prompt and timely ticket management for ServiceNow tickets related to NA Telecommunications services 
  • Ensure compliance with information security controls and standards for all services and solutions, as well as coordinating with sites to provide necessary support for audit and regulatory compliance
  • Drive LCM (Life Cycle Management) renewals and deployment
  • Advocate and educate businesses through the regional Cluster IT and site IT on best practices, guidance, and policies within this domain
  • Document and be knowledgeable about the NA Telecoms landscape in the region for all Telecoms domain areas and serve as key point of contact for the region
  • Serve as the key focal point for introduction of new Telecoms services, not just in terms of services, but also in terms of contract pricing, terms, and conditions (minimum commitment period and penalties); Work closely with IT sourcing and IT finance teams to negotiate term and manage contract
  • Ensure new Telecoms services and solutions meet the NA requirements and provide effective ongoing Run & Maintain support and manage renewals.
  • Understand the vendors contract pricing and conditions and provide insight to the Regional, Cluster and Site IT Leaders as required; coordinate, procure and approve all Telecoms related purchases
  • Responsible for driving improvement relative to the configuration and performance of networks and telecommunications, as well as working with Site IT Leads to implement.
  • Responsible for analyzing telecommunications performance and solutions to drive improvement
  • Responsible for reviewing all NA telecommunications invoices from vendors for accuracy and maintaining budget/forecast for NA financial outlook; responsible for maintaining all and purchase orders relative to telecommunications services.

Your Qualification Profile:

  • BS or MS Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  •  Minimum 10 years’ experience in leading and managing Telecoms related areas in a regional, complex, matrix organization
  • Able to work in a complex environment consisting of multiple stakeholders with the need to constantly communicate, negotiate and influence to get results
  • Possess good knowledge of IT infrastructure in general and competent in the areas of Telecoms comprising of but not limited to the following areas: Network, Voice solutions, Firewalls etc.
  • Strong vendor management skills and experience with depth in understanding of service level agreement, metrics, and contract pricing
  • Possess good general IT management knowledge and skills in the areas of service support, service delivery, compliance /audit, vendor management and client management.
  • Experience managing budgets and reviewing invoices for accuracy
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow (preferred)
  • Knowledge of SAP (preferred)
