We are looking for a highly experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our growing team. You will join a diverse and supportive team. Responsibilities:

  • Translate requirements into scalable software architecture and implementation.
  • Demonstrate the Microsoft manager attributes of coach, model, and care.
  • Plan and prioritize work for your team, including collaborating with partner organizations and working with geographically distributed teams.
  • Collaborate across disciplines. From inception with Program Managers to operation and support of live service with Customer Experience team.
  • Advocate for customers and demonstrate passion for technology.
  • Provide technical and strategic vision for the broader team.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of industry software engineering experience, including design and delivery of high scale cloud-based services.
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Proven ability to establish trusted, effective relationships across diverse sets of stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and cross group collaboration.
  • The ability to drive planning, prioritization, and execution activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building, and operating cloud services at enterprise scale
  • Proven track record of improving reliability, availability, and performance of cloud services.
