DESCRIPTION

The Firewall and Cloud Security Analyst/Engineer will be responsible for operational reliability and delivery of network security within the global Phillips 66 network. Responsibilities of this role include configuration and maintenance of firewalls, security group support for AWS/Azure Cloud environment, remote access management, IDS/IPS administration, and deployment of SASE services including Zero Trust/Micro-Segmentation.

This position can be located in Bartlesville, OK or Houston, TX

Responsibilities include:

• Provide break-fix resolutions for connectivity issues
• Configuration, installation, and administration of firewalls
• Configuration, administration, and maintenance of Cloud solutions
• Adherence to all processes and procedures
• Updating and maintaining documentation and tools
• Conducting annual firewall policy reviews for audit and inventory
• Execution of changes and following a change management process
• Providing planning and analysis to ensure network/security implementation
• Meeting current and future communication and security requirements
• Staying abreast of industry best practices
• Specific experience, knowledge and troubleshooting skills of next generation firewalls and IPS/IDS are required for this position along with strong problem management/resolution capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic/Required:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 5 or more years of firewall support and troubleshooting
• Experience with protocol analysis, access control, and intrusion protection
• Willing and able to participate in a rotational 24×7 on-call support team

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Information Technology technical field
• CISSP, CCSA, CCSE, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE Certifications
• 5 or more years of working knowledge with security management tools
• 7 or more years of experience in information services, with demonstrated knowledge in complex multi-site LAN/WAN environment
• Experience with Cisco, Check Point, AWS, and/or Azure firewalls
• Communicates clear & specific recommendations and strategies to a wide range of audiences
• Accountable and delivers on commitments
• Ability to achieve excellent results with minimal guidance
• Experience with any Zero Trust/Micro-Segmentation
