This position (Claims and Risk Management Information Analyst) reports through Claims & Risk Management under CEMREC Portfolio Strategy.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Performing records searches and reviews in support of Claims & Risk Management as well as other CEMREC functions (Commercial Transactions, Pre-Execution, Operations and Strategy)
  • Provides guidance on corporate policies 566 Information Retention and 575 Information Protection
  • Coordinates and provides direction on records digitization and records retention instruction for digital databases
  • Performs Physical Records Destruction Reviews on records that have met or exceeded retention
  • Assists with and provides direction/guidance with physical record repository moves and decommissioning throughout CEMREC
  • This position works in partnership with Claims, Risk and Multi-Party Specialists as well as E&S Law to support the historical research, review and arranges external data reviews of material as appropriate
  • This position manages the work direction and overall relationship with records contractor HCL
  • This position works within the following systems/Databases: MS applications (ie. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, etc.), KDACS, Documentum, TIMES, SharePoint, Cumulus, Locus, STRATA, sNow (service now – records management request form), Omni, and the Chevron Retention Schedule
  • This position requires strong data analytical skills, organization and prioritization of work as well as strong communication skills (verbal and written) to work effectively with team members and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in records research and / or environmental issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business or Technical degree
  • 5+ years of related industry experience
  • Understanding Environmental/property contracts and reports and/or historical related analytical research experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Can multi-task and work independently/and effectively work within a team and with stakeholders
  • Able to establish priorities, expectations and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with TIMES, sNow, SharePoint, Documentum
