Global Access Risk Analyst 9 views

Facebook is seeking an experienced a Global Access Risk Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for understanding and supporting the design of Facebook’s organizational, procedural and technological security controls within the context of security risk to our business based on geographic location. The position will also help codify these controls in supporting documentation and explain them to our internal stakeholders. The Global Access Risk Analyst will be someone that has a keen understanding of the global implications of our business, a passion for implementing innovative security controls that mitigate risk to the company, and empower Facebook’s culture of rapid innovation. This role requires a mix of business and technical acumen, the ability to inspire and influence decisions pertaining to security standards, a polished ability to communicate with key internal stakeholders, and interest in solving business challenges with geopolitical risks.
Global Access Risk Analyst Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for access management in the context of global locations.
  • Work with overall Access Management Lead, Information Security, and cross-functional partners to build, maintain, and execute on a roadmap considering short, medium, and long term location-based access control and operational needs for tools.
  • Support the identification, implementation, and maintenance of security controls to mitigate global access risk.
  • Understand technical details for implementing location-based access management and security controls.
  • Guide the development of security enforcement tools, access controls, alerts and anomaly detection, escalation workflows, and UX design.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to assess and communicate business impact of location-based access control programs.
  • Ensure successful transition of project deliverables to support/maintenance/operations teams.
  • Understand the security needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the communication of policies, procedures, and processes to internal stakeholders regarding security best practices.
  • Continuously assess and drive improvements of internal Facebook tools, technical capabilities, and business processes to improve technical enforcement of access management and enforcement principals by working with business and software engineering partners.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of working experience in access management, and/or information security capacity.
  • Experience in information security concepts and applying them at a global scale.
  • Experience independently leading projects to completion.
  • Experience working with leadership and engineers.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively across various levels and teams.
  • Communication, presentation, and interpersonal experience.
  • Experience working across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and simultaneous projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent quantitative field, or International Relations.
  • Strong desire to learn and continuously develop and deepen technical skills.
  • Certifications in one or more of the following areas: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GISO, GCIH, CIPP.
  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities.
  • Independent worker and motivated self-starter, thrives on ambiguity.
  • Change-oriented – proactively generates process improvements, supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways.
